IT'S US! we're making all these cute mugs, but it all started on Mollie's kitchen table in Cardiff during maternity leave in 2022.

We want to start off by just thanking you for even being here and reading this part because it truly means the world to. This whole thing was a dream of Mollie's not too long ago and it has suddenly become a reality. 

Mollie discovered ceramics during her three year Interior Design degree at CSAD. It was during her degree that she studied Wabi-Sabi, different forms of interior aesthetics and where her passion for interiors started.

There were no Interior Design jobs in Cardiff after graduating in July 2019 and so she began her career in Car Insurance (as you do). Ceramics was a small hobby of Mollies' but she didn't take it seriously until Covid lockdown of 2020. Working from home meant she had some extra time for hobbies. Mollie began making for fun again and she suddenly found herself dreaming of this small home-ware business. Mollie couldn't let it go, she just really wanted to make cute mugs and bowls and see her pieces mean something to people. So she made logos, made pinterest boards and became truly inspired. 

Mollie had always wanted to run her own business, be in charge of her own career and be involved in interior design, this just felt like the right thing to do, but it was so big and so far away.

This was obviously the best time to become pregnant LOL, Mollie planned to have a baby in 2021 and regardless of her small business dreams she was overjoyed to find out that she was due to have a little boy in December 2021. Mollie took things slow over her pregnancy, made some cute things here and there. It wasn't until her little boy arrived earth side that she knew she was going to turn this dream into a reality. 

Mollie started her maternity leave, made a corner in her kitchen, threw an Ikea desk there and began making mugs every single nap time. The house was a total mess, but that's ok, she was passionate, she knew she was onto something, and besides, at that point, its either a clean house or a small business, you couldn't have both. Mollie learnt about branding, marketing, photography, graphic design you name it, she researched it.

Many mistakes and small goals later we're here, we have two studios, a small team of 10 and alot of passion, dedication and inspiration.

Thank you for being here for the journey. We truly hope you love your pieces as much as we have enjoyed making them. We are so incredibly proud when someone purchases a little piece that we made. All the love, the comments, the likes and follows, it just gives us so much motivation and we wouldn't be able to do it without the support of everyone so far.
